Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently according to schedule and quality standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to maintain hygiene standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning activities to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supplies used
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are kept spotless and well-organized
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
- Nice-to-have skills include previous janitorial experience and familiarity with various cleaning equipment and products
