Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Convenience Store Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and refunds
- Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented and organised
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store environment
- Provide product information and upsell items to maximise sales opportunities
- Manage stock levels through merchandising techniques and inventory checks
- Answer customer enquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe shopping environment
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures as required
Skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
