Customer Service & Cook

Hours: 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Days: Monday - Friday
We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join our friendly team in a busy fish and chip shop. This is a hybrid role combining customer service and food preparation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh food daily to ensure the highest standards of quality and freshness.
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every customer.
- Take customer orders, handle payments, and serve food accurately.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shop, kitchen, and customer areas.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and general day-to-day operations.
- Work effectively as part of a team while being able to use your own initiative when required.
What We’re Looking For

- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or food service is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
