Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Supervisor to lead and motivate our retail sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support sales staff during daily store operations to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Ensure shelves, displays, and refrigerators are fully stocked, clean, and well-presented.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to achieve sales targets and improve productivity.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure products are restocked on time.
- Maintain accurate records of sales performance, stock movement, wastage, and staff attendance..
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including till operations, cash balancing, and daily sales reporting.
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or sales environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and retail operations
- Good time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and staff scheduling
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Organised with a keen eye for detail in visual presentation and stock control
