We are looking for waitressing staff for two busy cafes in Downham Market. As a Café Waitress, you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere by providing friendly customer service and making sure guests have an enjoyable experience. You'll take orders, serve food and drinks, keep the café clean and organised, and work with the rest of the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and help them find a table.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Recommend menu items and answer customers' questions.
- Serve food and drinks quickly and with a smile.
- Clear and reset tables, keeping the café clean and tidy.
- Handle payments using cash or card.
- Check that customers are happy with their meals and assist with any concerns.
- Work closely with the kitchen, baristas, and other team members.
- Restock supplies and help with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties.
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
