We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried GP to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care across a diverse patient demographic, ensuring high standards of patient safety and wellbeing. Duties
- Conduct thorough consultations with patients, assessing their medical histories and current health concerns.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, applying evidence-based practices.
- Prescribe medication, administer treatments, and oversee medication management plans.
- Coordinate with specialists in areas such as clinical research, ICU, public health, and medical imaging when necessary.
- Provide specialised care for vulnerable populations including nursing home residents, senior citizens, hospice patients, and those requiring home care.
- Lead or participate in clinical audits and research projects to enhance service quality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
- Promote health education initiatives within the community to improve overall public health outcomes.
- Supervise or collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Full registration with the GMC and inclusion on the Medical Register.
- Proven experience in general practice or primary care settings.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
- Experience or interest in clinical research, ICU procedures, public health initiatives, or medical imaging is desirable.
- Prior experience working in nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice settings or providing home care is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
