Overview
Our household needs an extra hand during the week for someone to clean;
- one hour a day, 4 times a week, Monday to Friday (you can choose which four out of five days suit you, as and when each week or on a flexible daily basis)
You must: - live in the Ladywell Borough of Lewisham, London OR on Monday to Fridays; be near Algiers Road, Ladywell at some point during the day most days a week for whatever reason already to complete one hour a day here as well I.E be able to comfortably get here without spending travel costs.
We are flexible and would prefer late morning/afternoon/evening visits. For instance, this role would be perfect for someone who wants to do this on their way home from work, before work if you start in the afternoon etc - or if you have an hour during the afternoon most days as you do not work full time and work evening shifts, etc. We can be flexible on the days/times I.E you are working late so will attend tomorrow instead, etc.
- This role is to be paid cash in hand/bank £13 per hour, and is an ad-hoc "extra" role to be undertaken in "spare" time and is not contractual or income to be relied upon.
Responsibilities (in kitchen, bathroom and 2 small hallways)
- Kitchen: Perform as needed washing up, cleaning cat feeding bowl, drying, putting dishes away, cleaning sides/cupboards/appliances, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing walls.
- Bathroom: Cleaning toilet/bath/sink, cleaning sides, sweeping and mopping floor, cleaning mirror, washing walls.
- Hallways/staircase - Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, washing walls and stairs.
Everything needed will be provided, including money to purchase your own gloves. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting general household cleaning products on, etc.
No employed cleaning experience required! Just a general knowledge and experience of how to keep a house clean is needed. You will not be supervised, we will be out of the rooms when you work. Applicants must be over 25. LGTBQ+ friendly household. Household has one cat and no kids; 2 adults (partners) - one female with a registered disability and one busy male. Female (me) will be dealing with communications and guidance, etc. Male will be elsewhere/in bedroom, etc.
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean and hygienic environments. Applicants should demonstrate professionalism and a proactive approach to their duties. An interview on your time schedule/availability will be scheduled.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
