ODS is looking for a Category Manager (Generalist) to join our Procurement team on a hybrid working basis.
In this rewarding role, you'll lead procurement activity across a diverse range of categories, developing smart sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring the business gets the very best value from its contracts. Working with teams across ODS, you'll help shape procurement decisions that support growth, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
We're looking for someone with strong procurement expertise, excellent relationship-building skills, and the confidence to lead complex projects while balancing commercial opportunities with compliance and governance requirements.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oxford OX4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- leading complex procurements: 3 years (required)
- public and commercial sector procurement: 1 year (required)
- working within regulations, including the Transparency Code: 1 year (required)
- dealing with vendors: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- MCIPS or working towards achieving levels 5 and 6 (required)
