About the Role
Cropstalk UK is looking for an innovative Director of Agricultural Technology to lead technology strategy and transformation across agricultural operations. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to use technology, data, automation, and modern systems to improve productivity and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the organization's agricultural technology strategy.
- Identify emerging technologies relevant to agricultural operations.
- Lead technology implementation and transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate automation, data, and digital solutions.
- Manage technology projects, budgets, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with agricultural, engineering, and business teams.
- Establish performance measures for technology initiatives.
- Lead and develop technical teams.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in agricultural technology, engineering, technology management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Knowledge of automation, data systems, or digital agriculture is preferred.
- Excellent project and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Strong commercial and analytical thinking.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification preferred.
