MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OF SHOT BLASTING
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Sand Blaster (Commercial) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques to ensure optimal surface cleanliness and readiness for finishing processes. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality commercial projects, helping us deliver durable, corrosion-resistant structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse industrial and construction sites, utilising your technical skills and attention to detail to achieve outstanding results.
We also carry out Dry ice blasting (commercial) and this can be taught to the correct candidate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sand blaster in commercial or industrial settings with a strong understanding of abrasive blasting techniques
- Mechanical knowledge of blasting equipment, hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read project specifications
- Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle large machines confidently and safely
- Knowledge of safety standards related to abrasive blasting, and handling hazardous materials
Candidate must also have:
- Clean manual driving licence
- CSCS labourer or intend to get this prior to beginning contract
- speak English
There can be a lot of travel (mostly into London) and the possibility of overnight stays, which will be compensated for. Bonuses are also available.
