Contract Support SpecialistAbout the Role
Gullo Building Materials and Commercial Services is looking for a Contract Support Specialist to provide structured administrative and commercial support across supplier, customer, and service contracts.
The successful candidate will help maintain accurate contract records, coordinate documentation, monitor key dates and obligations, and support internal teams with contract-related queries and updates.
This role is well suited to someone with experience in contract administration, procurement support, commercial operations, construction services, or supply chain environments who is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, documentation, and supporting files.
- Coordinate contract documentation from initial preparation through approval and renewal.
- Monitor key contract dates, renewal deadlines, notice periods, and deliverables.
- Support the preparation of contract summaries, schedules, and internal reports.
- Assist commercial and procurement teams with contract-related administration.
- Review incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Track amendments, variations, extensions, and other contractual changes.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to obtain required information.
- Maintain registers for contracts, agreements, supplier documentation, and supporting records.
- Support invoice and purchase order queries where they relate to contractual terms.
- Help ensure agreed pricing, service levels, and commercial conditions are properly documented.
- Coordinate signatures, approvals, and document circulation.
- Support compliance checks and internal audits relating to contract documentation.
- Escalate missing documents, approaching deadlines, or contractual discrepancies when necessary.
- Prepare routine reports on contract status, renewals, and outstanding actions.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and documentation requirements.
- Contribute to improving contract administration procedures and document control processes.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling commercial and contractual information.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in contract administration, commercial support, procurement, supply chain, construction services, or a related environment.
- Experience handling contracts, agreements, purchase orders, or commercial documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong document management and record-keeping skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and document management systems.
- Ability to review detailed information and identify missing or inconsistent documentation.
- Comfortable working independently while supporting a wider commercial team.
- Experience with procurement or contract management systems would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction materials, building products, or commercial services would be beneficial.
Pay: £3,500.00 per month
