Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist. Due to client requests for same‑gender treatments, this role requires a female therapist (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9) to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and sports massage.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual client requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or self-care practices.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimise client flow.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and hygiene at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or relevant role within a wellness or healthcare setting.
- Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to adapt massage techniques to meet individual client needs effectively.
- Strong organisational skills for managing appointments and maintaining records.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.
- Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
