Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for young children. You will be responsible for supporting their development through creative activities and ensuring their wellbeing while promoting a love for learning.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support the development of children.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times, ensuring all children's needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and provide updates on children's progress.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track their growth.
- Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills.
- Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Experience
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members.
- A proactive approach to managing children's behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental needs.
