Job Summary
The Concierge will provide a professional, customer-focused front-of-house service to residents, visitors, contractors and other authorised persons. The role will work closely with the Building Manager to support the effective day-to-day operation of the residential development, maintaining high standards of security, customer service and building presentation.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a professional approach, strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards identifying and reporting issues within the building.
Duties
- Work closely with the Building Manager to support the effective management of the development.
- Monitor and encourage compliance with the building's rules, regulations and resident requirements.
- Receive and respond to resident and visitor enquiries professionally, escalating matters to the Building Manager where appropriate.
- Identify issues affecting residents or the building and report them promptly.
- Conduct regular building checks and inspections in accordance with site procedures.
- Identify defects, damage, maintenance issues, health and safety concerns or breaches of building rules.
- Monitor communal areas and report any issues requiring attention.
- Maintain accurate records of checks, incidents and relevant observations.
- Ensure all CCTV activity is conducted strictly in accordance with company procedures and applicable data protection requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all key fobs issued and returned.
- Control the issue, return and administration of resident and authorised user key fobs.
- Report lost, stolen or unauthorised key fobs promptly to the Building Manager.
- Maintain the site's key control system.
- Issue and receive keys in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure keys are appropriately logged and securely stored when not in use. missing, damaged or unaccounted-for keys immediately.
- Liaise professionally with contractors attending site.or attendance and, where required, verify authorisation before permitting access.
- Liaise with the Building Manager regarding contractor works and any issues identified.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Front of House experience
- Able to use Microsoft office and keep all information/records confidential in accordance with G.D.P.R
- Able to provide a full five year work history
- Has the right to work in the UK
Pay: £12.71 per hour
