Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee CAD Technician to join our dynamic design team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and gain practical experience across various projects. We specialize in Cable Enclosure systems. We ask that you already have CAD/ Revit knowledge and experience of 12 months or more. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about engineering, looking to build a career in system and construction design.
Duties
- Assist in creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
- Support the development of schematic diagrams and technical schematics for construction and system design projects.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and designers to produce accurate visual representations of concepts and plans.
- Help prepare presentation materials with graphic design tools, ensuring clarity and visual appeal.
- Participate in project meetings to understand client requirements and project specifications.
- Maintain organised digital files and documentation related to CAD projects.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Understanding of construction processes and system design principles.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in graphic design and technical documentation.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
