Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair care, colouring and styling, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Stylist, you will be looking to progress to Creative Stylist Level, you will play a crucial role in providing clients with expert advice and high-quality services, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. This position requires an individual who is currently working in a salon as a stylist and can communicate effectively, be willing to develop their skills professionally and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Duties
- Provide professional hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns promptly.
- Advise AVEDA salon products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue. Meet targets for rewarding commissions. Training provided.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and professional products to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Proven current salon experience as a Hair Stylist with cutting and colouring skills within a salon environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members alike.
- Strong communication skills to promote self, products and services effectively.
