Role Overview
Support supply chain operations while ensuring efficient delivery of construction materials and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for building materials, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency.
- Oversee inventory levels, optimise stock control, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Utilise ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to monitor stock movements, generate reports, and streamline operations.
- Coordinate logistics activities including transportation scheduling, freight management, and delivery tracking to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with project teams and vendors to forecast material requirements based on project timelines and specifications.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory data, and logistics documentation in compliance with organisational policies.
- Lead cross-functional teams involved in supply chain activities, fostering effective communication and problem-solving.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is essential for efficient operations management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics planning, and inventory control practices.
