HobbyMaker works with an incredible range of craft brands, suppliers and creative businesses, and our relationships with these brands are a huge part of what makes HobbyMaker successful.
We're looking for a Supplier Partnerships Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of those relationships and help make sure our suppliers have a brilliant experience working with HobbyMaker.
Working closely with the Supplier Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the centre of our supplier activity, coordinating communication, launches, campaigns, shows and opportunities across the business.
This is a busy role. You'll need to be organised, confident communicating with suppliers and comfortable managing lots of moving parts at the same time.
Most importantly, you'll play a key role in making sure our supplier plans turn into action, helping us deliver brilliant partnerships today whilst supporting the bigger opportunities we're building for the future.
What You'll Own
Day-to-Day Supplier Relationships
Be a contact for the day-to-day support of HobbyMaker suppliers.
You'll:
Build strong, positive working relationships with our supplier partners.
Build an understanding of each supplier, their products and what success looks like for them.
Ensure suppliers have the information they need, when they need it.
Coordinate actions and follow-ups from supplier meetings.
Identify issues early and work with the Supplier Partnerships Manager to resolve them.
Make sure commitments made to suppliers are followed through.
Help make HobbyMaker an easy and enjoyable business to work with.
Supplier Activity & Coordination
Help turn our supplier plans into action.
You'll:
Coordinate upcoming supplier activity across the HobbyMaker schedule.
Maintain a clear forward view of supplier launches, -
Support the delivery of seasonal campaigns.
Coordinate activity between suppliers and internal teams.
Ensure actions, deadlines and requirements are clearly communicated.
Keep activity moving and highlight risks before they become problems.
Launches & Campaigns
Support the successful execution of product launches and supplier campaigns.
You'll:
Coordinate launch requirements with suppliers.
Work with Buying & Scheduling to ensure products and information are ready.
Work with Marketing, Web, Social and Production to coordinate supporting activity.
Help make sure launches feel joined up across TV, Web, Social and Marketing.
Ensure agreed campaign activity is delivered.
Track actions and deadlines.
Support post-launch reviews and capture learnings for future activity.
Events & Experiences
Help bring our supplier partnerships to life beyond the television screen.
You'll:
Coordinate supplier participation in customer events and workshops.
Support demonstrations, launches and other supplier-led experiences.
Work with the wider team to ensure suppliers have everything they need.
Help turn supplier ideas into experiences our customers will enjoy.
Supplier Information & Performance
Help us understand what's working, where the opportunities are and where our suppliers may need more support.
You'll:
Maintain accurate supplier information.
Support the creation and maintenance of supplier scorecards.
Gather sales, margin, airtime and digital performance information.
Prepare information for supplier business reviews.
Track actions agreed during supplier reviews.
Maintain a clear view of upcoming opportunities and challenges.
Help identify suppliers that may need additional support or attention.

Experience within buying, supplier management, account management, merchandising, scheduling or a similar commercial environment would be helpful, but attitude, organisation and the ability to build relationships are just as important.

This role is full time office based working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
You must be able to commute daily to our location B98 9HF in Redditch, Worcestershire and not have to relocate for our role.
Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
