Bridies Rossdowney is looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Takeaway Assistant to join our growing team.

The Role
As a Takeaway Assistant, you'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring customers receive excellent service and every order is prepared accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone.
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Prepare and package takeaway & delivery orders.
- Handle cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming work areas.
- Restock supplies and assist with general cleaning duties.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
- Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

- Has excellent customer service skills.

- Can stay calm and organised during busy periods.
- Has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Is reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Has good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a takeaway, café, restaurant or retail environment is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
