We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead our Aylestone Nursery on a maternity cover contract. Your Responsibilities
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth and effective operations
- Inspire, support, and develop your team to deliver outstanding childcare and education
- Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance, care, and learning
- Promote the nursery within the community and support occupancy and growth
- Create a warm, inclusive, and positive environment where children and staff can thrive
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Minimum full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare
- At least 3 years’ nursery management experience
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early education
- A positive and customer-focused approach with families and staff
- The ability to lead by example and maintain high standards throughout the setting
