Job Description
To assist the General Manager and Team Leader in maintaining the safety, security and integrity of the truck stop.
Key job responsibilities include
- Monitoring CCTV cameras, site patrols, controlling all entrance and exit barriers, keeping records of and monitoring all vehicles entering the site
- Customer intervention where required
- Parking of vehicles to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck stop
- Maintain safe environment for customers, visitors and staff alike
- Processing payments from all customers and the updating of computer records
- Welcome customers and visitors to the truck stop in accordance with company procedures
- Any other task set by the truck stop management or directors of the business
The role is working a 4 on/4 off 12 hour shift pattern with a 1 hour break per shift. Shifts are 7am to 7pm, 12pm to 12am and 7pm to 7am, on rotation
We are seeking candidates who enjoy working with people as customer service skills are important - the Site Officer deals with drivers of many nationalities and needs to be patient and courteous at all times. Ideally candidates will have experience of working outside and nights though these are not essential.
