Job Summary
We are seeking experienced SIA Door Supervisors to join our security team in Chester. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at various venues, ensuring the safety of all patrons and staff. This role requires a professional demeanour, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to any incidents. Candidates must hold valid SIA Door Supervisor licences and have prior experience in a similar setting. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in surveillance, loss prevention, CCTV operation, and first aid will be highly valued.
Duties
- Monitor entry points and conduct thorough ID checks to ensure only authorised individuals gain access
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorised or disruptive behaviour
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Respond promptly and professionally to any incidents, including disputes or emergencies
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and fairly
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Record detailed incident reports accurately and promptly as required
- Collaborate with venue management and emergency services when needed to ensure safety protocols are followed
Experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Proven experience in security or door supervision roles within entertainment venues, clubs, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operations
- Experience in loss prevention methods and conflict resolution strategies
- First aid certification is highly desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanour with a customer-focused approach
