At Oak Tree Vet Centre, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring Receptionist to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. You’ll be joining a friendly team of 2 Receptionists, 4 Vets, 4 RVNs and 2 SVNs, all working together to provide an exceptional standard of care for our patients and a welcoming experience for our clients.
An experienced veterinary receptionist would be a fantastic advantage, but it’s not essential. What matters most to us is that you’re enthusiastic, personable, organised and genuinely enjoy helping people and their pets. Full training and support will be provided.

The role
As our receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the practice and often the first friendly face our clients see.
You’ll help create a warm and welcoming experience for our clients and their pets, while supporting the veterinary team and keeping the reception area running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident
- Enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys working with people
- Organised and able to manage a busy environment
- A good communicator who enjoys being part of a team
- Compassionate and understanding when supporting clients and their pets
- Keen to learn and develop their knowledge
Previous veterinary reception experience would be a fantastic advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.

Hours
30 hours per week, worked over Monday, Wednesday and Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
There is no out-of-hours requirement.
