Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS system to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and retail math to ensure correct transactions and balanced registers
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, including food handling and serving stations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals in accordance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista with a strong background in coffee preparation and food service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Previous experience working in a café or retail environment within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting
