Precision Joinery Services is a growing joinery and specialist fire door contractor carrying out work across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for either a fully qualified Joiner or an enthusiastic Trainee Joiner to join our team.

The Role
The successful candidate will work on a range of joinery and fire door projects across the UK, including:
- Fire door installation
- Fire door remedial works
- Fire door maintenance
- Door and frame installation
- Door adjustments and repairs
- General carpentry and joinery
- First and second fix joinery
- Commercial joinery works
- Working to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
The position involves travelling throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays and periods working away from home.
All reasonable work-related accommodation, food allowances and expenses will be provided in line with company policy.
Fully Qualified Joiner – Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 2/3 Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent
- Relevant experience within carpentry/joinery
- Good knowledge of joinery and installation techniques
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
Experience within fire doors or passive fire protection would be an advantage but is not essential.
Trainee Joiner – Requirements
For the trainee position, previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in carpentry and joinery
- Is hardworking and reliable
- Is keen to learn and develop
- Has good practical skills
- Takes pride in their work
- Can follow instructions and work safely
- Is willing to travel and occasionally work away
- Has a full UK driving licence
We will invest in the right candidate’s training and qualifications to help them develop into a fully qualified joiner and specialist fire door installer.
