Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Assistant to join our team in the Derby and Derbyshire area. Based in a residential or community setting, this role is vital in helping our clients maintain their independence and well-being by providing personalised support and assistance.Certificate of sponsorship can be considered following successful probation period.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or residential settings.
- Develop and follow tailored care plans to meet individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, hygiene, and medication management.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all service users.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals and promoting their emotional well-being.
- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in client conditions.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or interest in home care or personal support roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures is advantageous.
