Social Workers – All Specialties & Levels – Agency (Immediate Start)
Aligned Learning is urgently recruiting Social Workers for agency placements across a range of specialties and seniority levels, including Newly Qualified (NQSW), Experienced, and Senior Practitioners.
We work with local authorities and organisations across [region] to fill agency roles quickly, and we're looking to build our pool of registered, compliant social workers who are ready to start ASAP.
Specialties we're recruiting for include:
- Children & Families
- Child Protection / Safeguarding
- Looked After Children (LAC)
- Adults
- Mental Health (AMHP where applicable)
- Fostering & Adoption
- Youth Justice
- Hospital Discharge / Occupational Therapy-adjacent roles
- Leaving Care / 16+
Seniority levels:
- Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW)
- Social Worker
- Senior Practitioner
- Team Manager / Senior Social Worker
Essential requirements:
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE) — mandatory for all applicants, including NQSWs
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a relevant social work setting (placement-based experience accepted, including final-year statutory placements)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date references covering recent employment/placements
