About Us
We are looking for a new bar supervisor to join our multi-site team. This role will be accross 2 popular venues on Cardiff's Canal Quarter, The Dock Feeder and The Cardiff Arms.
The Role
As a multi-site bar supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth bar operations during your shifts. You’ll lead by example, support the bar team, and help maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the bar team during shifts and providing leadership and support
- Delivering excellent customer service and creating a friendly atmosphere
- Serving drinks quickly and accurately while maintaining high standards
- Opening and closing the bar when required
- Handling cash, card payments, and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies
- Training and mentoring new bar staff
Requirements
- Previous bar experience (supervisory experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to take initiative
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
