Job Summary:
I am a tetraplegic wheelchaired Lady looking for Personal Care Assistant/Support Workers needed to help and support me with my personal care and going out and about. The successful applicants do not need any previous experience as all training will be provided with online modules along with shadow shifts. Apart from my personal care I enjoy cooking and baking, arts and crafts (I like making my own cards) and occasionally going out to shop for various things. The successful applicants would ideally enjoy these activities and be a companion to me by being relaxed enough to have a chat throughout their shift.
Duties:
- Bowel management routine
- Bed washing and dressing
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Suprapubic catheter and leg bag routine
- Support with mobility and transfer assistance to ensure safety and comfort
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with household tasks including light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
- Communicate effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised with good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectivelyThis role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing compassionate care and supporting others in maintaining their independence. Experience or Qualifications:
No previous experience required
Full training provided, online and shadowing

Pay: £14.35 per hour
