Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
- Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring all personal needs are met efficiently and respectfully
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including documentation related to health, medication, and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure coordinated care
- Use your driving skills to transport clients safely to appointments or outings when required
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for everyone
- Utilize IT systems for recording care activities, updating records, and accessing relevant information quickly and securely
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to connect empathetically with residents and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to individual needs
- Good IT literacy for managing electronic records and documentation efficiently
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to care environments
