Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Assist in medication administration processes, ensuring proper labeling and storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering medication guidance, and supporting health education initiatives
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock replenishment, expiry checks, and order processing
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support the pharmacy team during clinical activities and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations
- Uphold safety protocols by verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, and adhering to legal dispensing procedures
Experience
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems is also highly desirable
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills to manage medication inventories effectively
