SENIOR RETAIL ASSISTANT
Position available in Glasgow city centre multi award winning gift company. The candidate must have previous shop retail experience with merchandising skills preferred.
The hours will be 16-25 Hours a week, with option to go up to 40 hours in December.
A bit about the role!
As a Senior Retail Assistant, you'll be helping to manage the day-to-day operation of our gift store. Customer facing, a high level of customer service is key. You will spend the majority of your time on your feet, in a mixed hands-on role where you will lead by example. You will be computer literate, helping manage stock on our systems as well as processing incoming deliveries.
The person
We are looking to recruit an exceptionally warm, friendly, and passionate individual. They much be on the ball, and a fast learner.
It’s essential that the person has a high level of customer service and is not shy of interacting.
The candidate must have previous shop retail experience with merchandising skills preferred.
Minimum hours are 15 per week with the potential to go full time through the Christmas period. The hours will be flexible throughout the week so candidates must have good availability and be able to work some weekends.
Temporary role with a view to going permanent.
Although, not essential it would be advantageous if the applicant has worked in the gift industry before and understands the importance of that special touch required.
