- Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Updating and configuring BIOS
- Installing and configuring operating systems after data erasure
- Fault finding and repairing
- Repairs to include the replacement of components such as the screen, keyboard, etc
- Accurately record all work completed within our internal stock system.
- Use of the dedicated computer system to record asset information.
- Repairing systems to maximise the opportunities for re-use.
- Dismantling systems and other IT equipment, prior to shredding.
- Identifying equipment for re-sale on eBay
- Cleaning/detailing/grading of IT equipment.
- Listing equipment on eBay with correct product descriptions
- Testing of different IT equipment
- Picking and Packaging orders ready for shipping

- Be responsible and take ownership for all devices allocated to you

- IT Qualifications would be advantageous to your application but are not essential
- Training and support will be given to the right candidate in our systems and procedures. It is envisaged that you will have no problem in picking this up quickly. We also envisage that there will be room for you to grow and develop the role as time progresses.
