Job Description - Concession - Retail Assistant
Established as a family run shop in 1924, the Clinkard Group has now grown to be one of the largest Independent Footwear Retailer in the UK.
We are looking to recruit a Part -Time Retail Assistant to work in our Concession within Austins in Newton Abbot. Our vacancy is for 4 hours per week on a Wednesday .You should have a flexible approach to working hours and applicants must be willing to work overtime as required. Hours are suit the needs of the business and may include weekend working during holidays and busy periods.
Duties for Retail Assistants will include:·
- Approaching customers to ensure they are dealt with efficiently, courteously and promptly as possible·
- Assisting Customers to make their choice of footwear, matching their needs and guiding them with product knowledge.·
- Deliver an excellent level of customer service at all times.·
- Replenishment of stock on display along with receiving and checking stock deliveries.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:·
- Proven experience as a Retail Assistant is essential and in footwear an advantage.
- · Excellent communication skills, able to communicate confidently and clearly with customers at all time·
- Present a professional, positive and welcoming image to customers.
Full training and uniform is provided
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.80 per hour
