Neighbourhood Manager (9 Month Fixed-Term Contract) – Help Communities Thrive
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building strong communities? As a Neighbourhood Manager, you'll be the face of Peabody in your neighbourhoods, working closely with residents, partners and colleagues to ensure our homes and communities are safe, well-managed and desirable places to live.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll manage tenancy issues, support vulnerable residents, tackle local challenges and help improve resident satisfaction through a visible and proactive neighbourhood management service.
This is a fixed-term opportunity until 30th April 2027.
What you'll be doing

Deliver a high-quality housing management service across your neighbourhoods, ensuring residents receive excellent support and customer service.

Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, local partners and internal teams to improve outcomes for customers.

Manage tenancy and neighbourhood issues, including safeguarding concerns, anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and resident engagement.

Carry out estate inspections, welcome visits and community engagement activities, helping to create safe and thriving communities.
What you'll bring
-
Experience delivering excellent customer service within housing, community services or a similar customer-focused environment.

Strong relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, manage a varied workload and make sound decisions.

An understanding of housing management, tenancy management or community engagement, with a commitment to improving customer outcomes.
Desirable
-
Knowledge of UK Housing Law relating to residential tenancies.

Housing qualification such as CIH/CIOH.
-
Community language skills.

This is a field-based role and you'll spend approximately 60% of your time working in neighbourhoods, using agile working tools to support residents and communities.
You may be required to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota and work flexibly to meet customer and service needs.
This is a 9-month fixed-term contract until 30th April 2027.
Interviews will be held in person at Westminster Bridge Road on either Wednesday 16th or Thursday 17th September.
