Salary: £13.56 - £14.57 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in fostering the intellectual, social and emotional development of children. Working as part of a supportive and professional team, you will help to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. You will build positive relationships with children and their families while delivering high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive and caring relationships with children and take responsibility for their well-being, welfare and development
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS framework and engage in high quality interactions that support children’s learning and development
- Operate within the key person system and liaise with parents, carers, and senior staff
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's individual learning and development
- Complete observations, assessments and planning in line with nursery procedures
What We Are Looking for:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification or above
- A minimum of 6 months’ recent childcare experience (desirable)
- A good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Empathy, patience and a genuine passion for working with children
