Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations
- Monitor safety protocols rigorously, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards and identify potential issues early
- Manage on-site personnel, assign tasks effectively, and provide guidance to resolve technical or logistical challenges
- Oversee the use of equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety incidents, material usage, and inspection reports
Experience
- Proven experience in civil construction supervision or a similar role within substation/energy projects
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management practices
- Electrical experience is desirable to coordinate multidisciplinary aspects of projects effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
- Effective communication skills for clear coordination with diverse teams and stakeholders
