We are recruiting 7.5t Drivers to join a well-established home delivery operation based in Tamworth on an ongoing, full-time contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a 7.5t Driver looking for consistent work, reliable weekly earnings, and long-term stability. The operation runs 7 days a week, providing regular shifts and consistent work throughout the year.
As a 7.5t Driver, you will complete home deliveries alongside a driver's mate, ensuring goods are delivered safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable commercial driving experience.
Key Responsibilities – 7.5t Driver
- Drive a 7.5t (Category C1) vehicle on scheduled home delivery routes
- Deliver goods to residential customers
- Work alongside a driver's mate to complete deliveries
- Complete manual handling as part of the delivery process
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Requirements – 7.5t Driver
- Valid UK Category C1 (7.5t) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Must be 21 years of age or over due to insurance requirements
- Willing to complete a Highway Code test and driving assessment
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
