We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Cosham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to positively impact the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
- Providing classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting learning activities and interventions
- Helping students develop confidence and self-esteem
- Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment
- Previous experience in education, care, youth work or support work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident supporting pupils with behavioural challenges
