Technical Tutor- Printed Textiles – Maternity Cover
Full time and Fixed term contract for up to 12 months

We have an exciting opportunity to support teaching delivery within Creative Arts in the School of Design and Creative Arts to cover maternity leave. Creative Arts is multidisciplinary and this is an exciting option to be part a large technical team delivering specialised teaching.
This role would be within the Textiles Print team supporting specialised practical teaching within the print workshop and working closely with Technical Tutors from across the School.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of providing teaching and learning support to students, for example theoretical teaching and practical demonstrations & instruction.
- Demonstrable skills in the techniques, technologies, processes, and applications associated with printmaking and textile dying and print.
- Experience of working effectively and collegiately with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability and passion for communicating specialist knowledge and complex information in an effective and engaging way to a range of audiences, specifically in the area of printmaking, textiles dying and printing.
- Ability to work independently, apply your own initiative, be self-motivated and lead own workload, projects and teams.
