Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining property standards, managing tenant relations, and coordinating maintenance activities. Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and operation of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, liaising with contractors and service providers
- Supervise on-site staff and contractors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high standards of service
- Develop and implement property management strategies to optimise operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure properties are well-maintained
- Manage tenant relations, including lease agreements, rent collection, and addressing complaints or concerns
- Prepare reports on property performance, budgets, and maintenance activities for senior management
- Utilise project management skills to oversee renovation or refurbishment projects from inception to completion
- Interpret schematics and electrical or mechanical diagrams for maintenance planning or troubleshooting purposes
- Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, including the proper use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where applicable
Skills
- Proven management experience with strong supervisory capabilities
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to oversee maintenance activities effectively
- Familiarity with schematics, PLCs, and technical diagrams is highly desirable
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise teams effectively
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in property inspections and documentation
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ability to handle complex situations calmly and professionally while maintaining high standards of service
