Paterson (Scotland) is a small family-run business which has just celebrated its 40-year anniversary. It supplies quality merchandise to the golf industry and hospitality trade, by personalizing products for resale in golf clubs and corporate customers.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-orientated Embroidery Machine Operator to join our small team. As an embroidery machine operator, you will be responsible for running 6 and 4 head Tajima embroidery machines, ensuring high quality embroidery on various garments while meeting deadlines. Your role will involve:
· Framing up garments accurately to ensure precise embroidery placement
· Operating and maintaining embroidery machines, troubleshooting any issues as required
· Monitoring production schedules and keeping on top of deadlines
· Quality checking finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency
· Routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
· MUST HAVE experience operating embroidery machines, please do not apply if you do not have the experience
· Experience working with Wilcom and Ethos Software (advantageous).
· Quick learner, with ability to follow tried and tested procedures.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure precise embroidery work.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Good time-management skills to meet deadlines.
· Team player with a proactive attitude.
Choice of hours - we can be flexible with start and finish times
· 10.00hrs – 14.00hrs 16 hours per week
· 09.30hrs – 14.00hrs 18 hours per week
· 09.00hrs – 14.30hrs 22 hours per week
