Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work safely at heights. Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing membranes
- Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing components to ensure durability and weather resistance
- Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
- Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment
- Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and securing tools and materials after each task
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during roofing operations
Experience
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is preferred
- Knowledge of construction painting, welding, electrical work, or fabrication is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools required for roofing tasks
- Experience working at heights and on scaffolding or ladders safely
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications is beneficial
- Previous experience with masonry or electrical systems can be an asset but is not mandatory

Pay: £100.28-£180.00 per day
