Helix Robotics Solutions Ltd. (Part of Helix Energy Solutions) are looking for a Senior Proposals Engineer to join the Commercial Team, based in Dyce, Aberdeen on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team contributing to the overall success in winning diverse subsea projects and supporting to shape the future of the business. This role will provide candidates with hands on experience working on both oil and gas projects and renewable energy projects for years to come with its specialised suite of Services including but not limited to trenching and route preparation services.
As a Senior Proposals Engineer, you will play a key role in the commercial tendering process, managing and submitting high quality proposals in collaboration with our Business Development and Project Teams. As a senior team member, you will line-manage the Proposal Engineers in the department, helping to develop them in their role whilst also developing yourself.
This role provides a unique opportunity to a confident and motivated individual with daily exposure to senior management with an opportunity to grow in an evolving industry.
This role is ideal for someone with practical commercial experience, strong analytical and organisational skills whilst having a variety of work. Line management experience is ideal but not a requirement for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:

Managing Tenders from start to finish, including support during Contractual negotiations where required, to provide Clients with a comprehensive and high-quality proposal

Line management of Proposal Engineers & Proposal Co-ordinators

Bid writing utilising standardised and personalised information to ensure Client requirements are met

Working with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery in line with Client requirements
Experience / Education required:

Experience working within a commercial or tendering team

Line management experience ideal but not required
