Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse required for Glasgow University Nursery
We are recruiting for a full time Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioners and require an enthusiastic and motivated professional to work with and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
Responsibilities will include ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, stimulating, caring and child-centered learning environment.
The successful individual will have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Minimum HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification and registered with SSSC.
- Have experience of planning, observations and assessments as well as preparing and undertaking learning experiences both indoors and out that support children’s learning and development.
- Have knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence
- Have knowledge of GIRFEC, Realising the Ambition and other National Good Practice Guidance.
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm for 50 weeks of the year and shifts will vary within these times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £13.45 per hour
