Dr Glyn Medispa is looking for an exceptional Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner to join our growing clinical team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, confident and clinically driven nurse who is passionate about dermatology, skin health and advanced aesthetic treatments and who takes genuine pride in delivering outstanding patient care.
We are looking for someone who combines strong clinical knowledge with excellent consultation skills, meticulous attention to detail and a warm, professional approach to patient care.
The Role
Working as part of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of personalised dermatology and advanced skin treatments to our patients.
You will undertake detailed consultations, assess individual skin concerns, develop appropriate treatment plans and deliver a range of advanced treatments safely and to an exceptional standard.
The role will include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient consultations and skin assessments
- Developing personalised treatment plans based on individual patient needs and desired outcomes
- Delivering advanced skin and aesthetic treatments
- Providing ongoing patient reviews and treatment follow-up
- Advising patients on appropriate skincare and treatment programmes
- Recognising and appropriately managing clinical concerns and referring to the wider medical team when required
- Prescribing within your scope of practice, where appropriately qualified
- Maintaining accurate, comprehensive and timely clinical records
- Ensuring informed consent and appropriate clinical documentation are completed
- Maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, infection control and clinical governance
- Working collaboratively with doctors and the wider clinical team
- Contributing to an exceptional patient journey from initial consultation through to ongoing care
- Keeping knowledge and clinical skills up to date in line with current best practice
About You
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is confident working in a premium clinical environment and who is passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for patients.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current NMC registration
- Previous experience within dermatology, medical aesthetics or advanced skin treatments
- Strong clinical assessment and consultation skills
- Experience delivering advanced skin/aesthetic treatments
- Excellent knowledge of skin health and treatment pathways
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of clinical judgement and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while being an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
- A professional, polished and reassuring manner
- A genuine commitment to patient safety and exceptional patient care
An Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification (V300) is essential.
Experience in the management and treatment of acne, rosacea, melasma and photoaging is essential.
Additional relevant qualifications and experience in advanced aesthetic or dermatology treatments will be considered a significant advantage.
