This is an exciting opportunity to join Hampshire’s Inclusion Support Service as an Attendance Support Worker, where you will support vulnerable children and young people to engage in education, improve attendance, and overcome barriers to learning. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in a school attendance role, who can bring practical knowledge of attendance processes and effective interventions.
As part of the School Attendance Support Team, you will act as a key point of contact for attendance-related queries, manage referrals and casework, and work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals to improve outcomes. You will have strong communication, organisational, and IT skills, along with a professional, empathetic, and flexible approach in a fast-paced environment.
Take a look at our Candidate Pack for more information about the Attendance Support Worker, role, team and our values. The section ‘About you’ explains what specific knowledge, skills and experience we want you to tell us about. Make sure you explain how you meet these requirements and demonstrate our values, in your application.
