Overview
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Salon Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the beauty industry, supporting both clients and staff in a busy salon environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet clients upon arrival and assist them comfortably to their seats
- Support technicians by preparing and organising workstations
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the salon throughout the day, including waste disposal
- Assist with collecting lunches and coffees when requested
- Wash clients’ hair and perform head massages when required
- Ensure the salon remains tidy and organised during quieter periods
- Distribute promotional leaflets in the local area when requested and when salon activity allows
- Escort clients to the door upon departure and assist with bags and opening doors where appropriate
- Wash, hang, fold, and organise towels
- Assist with stock organisation and inventory checks when requested
- Prepare customer hair product orders and organise them for collection
- Unpack deliveries, arrange products neatly, and dispose of packaging materials appropriately
