Job Summary
We require a labourer to work along side our site teams, fitting metal fencing, handrails, balustrading and structural steelwork. This is a manual role and involves hard digs and lifting, so you must be physically fit. You must hold a valid green CSCS card and a full driving licence as a minimum requirement.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing job sites to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate tools and machinery
- Digging holes on site (may contain hard digs)
- Manual Handling
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure and safe work environment for all team members
- Perform general site cleanup, including waste removal and debris management
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or hazards promptly
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction operations
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward tasks
- Prior experience in construction or labour roles is necessary.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- CSCS Card is essential
