Duties

- Assess learners’ current abilities and develop personalized learning plans to meet their specific needs.
- Monitor progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to motivate and guide learners toward their objectives.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence-building.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external partners to ensure comprehensive learner support.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with organizational standards.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate learners with special educational needs or additional support requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly within functional skills or adult education settings.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with learners of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Experience working with children or young adults, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Knowledge of special education principles and strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that are both educational and motivating.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all learners feel valued and supported.
- Relevant qualifications in teaching, education, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
